Where Is Central Thailand?

Central Thailand is a region in Thailand that was set apart for statistical and geographical purposes. It is composed of 26 provinces (some say just 22) that are subdivided into the Greater Bangkok region, Sub-Central Thailand region, Western Thailand region, and Eastern Thailand region.

Bangkok, the capital of the country, can be found in Central Thailand as well as most of the Thai population. The Chakri dynasty is the ruling monarchy of Thailand right now.
