Pattaya Gay Festival

The Pattaya gay scene runs the gamut from the rather sleazy go- go bars of Boyz Town near central Pattaya to the country's only really gay beach.

The Pattaya Gay Festival is one of the country's more successful pride events. There are events going on all year round, culminating in a big bash in Boyz Town at the end of November.

For five years the Pattaya Gay Festival has, with the help of a small and informal organizing committee, run a series of fund- raising events to help and support local charities.

Also, events such as street parties, gay sports days, football and Mr and Miss Contests have enduring popularity. The year long party culminates in a parade of floats each December 1st, World Aids Day. Pattaya City and the PGF join forces to parade and drive home the Safe Sex messages of the current AIDS/HIV world we live in.
