Pattya is an out of the way seaside fishing village. Weekenders came mostly from Bangkok to enjoy the beach, water sports, and breezy outdoor seafood restaurants.
But with the passage of time Pattaya has grown into an internationally known tourist destination replete with hotels, restaurants, shops, a very vibrant night- life and excellent facilities for all warm weather sports.
The Pattaya Sports Club was founded in mid- 1979. Main aim of this club is to conduct and promote sports events and contribute to local charities. Their focus is on needy children, the handicapped, and the underprivileged.
In 1996 the Pattaya Sports Club was officially recognized by the Thai government as a registered non- profit association.
The Pattaya Sports Club is having a long list of its members. Their list of members includes Japan, Korea, Australia, Taiwan, and America.
